You'll need software to automate the process of creating links,
storing records of purchases, calculating commissions, allowing
commissions to be viewed, and sending out payments. The software
required runs not on your PC but on a server — either your
own company server, the server of the ISP company hosting your site,
or some third-party server. That gives you these options.
