Your hosting company probably allows you to handle mailing lists. If not, or you want to evade their bulk mailing restrictions, try one of these:

Customized Emails

These programs add multimedia: sounds, images, even video clips. Recipients don't need the program, or plug-ins, to view the effects. Demos may be brash, but the features can be toned down for a serious newsletter.

Form-Email Programs

These simple programs allow your visitors to fill in a form, the contents of which are automatically emailed to you when they click the "send" button. Many hosting companies provide them free, but here's a short list if you're stuck.

Check that you're not working in an oversubscribed field by seeing what newsletters are currently available. You can also increase the circulation of your existing ezine by getting yourself listed here — often for a small fee.
